Kayaking, wind surfing, sailing, snorkeling, diving, fishing, tennis and golf can all be done while in Exuma. Boat rentals are availabe at Minns Watersports https://sites.google.com/site/minnswatersports/home, allowing you to get out and explore the numerous uninhibited keys, secluded beaches, sand bars, caves and blue holes. The turquoise waters surrounding Exuma are shallow and filled with coral heads and reefs. These shallow heads make for easy snorkeling. While you are at it, stop by Hoopers Bay and swim with the friendly sea turtles.

Guided day trips and excursions can be arranged to visit Big Major Cay where you can swim with the world famous swimmings pigs, Thunderball Grotto (where scenes from James Bond's "Never Say Never" and the movies "Splash" and "Into The Blue" were filmed) and Leaf Cay aka "Iguana Island" where you can hand feed the wild iguanas.

Exuma is known for having the best bone fishing flats in the world. These shallow flats attract world wide anglers who want to take a shot at the elusive "silver ghost". If deep sea fishing is more your style, then try the deep blue waters off Exuma Sound where Sailfish, Wahoo, Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Grouper, Snapper and Hogfish are plentiful. You'll rarely come back empty handed. A fishing excursion can be arranged with the local fishermen.

George Town offers a very enjoyable shopping experience with everything you need within walking distance. The local people are very friendy and can always be found with a smile on their face. Stop by the straw market for locally made goods including baskets, bags and jewelry.

There are several restaurants in and around George Town to choose from. All offer delicious Bahamian cuisine, including fresh fish, lobster and conch dishes. Throughout the week different activities can be found on the island including the Bar-B-Que at the Two Turtles Inn, the Rake and Scrape at Eddie's Edgewater, live music and dancing at the Peace and Plenty and Chat n' Chill's Pig Roast on Volley Ball Beach. Some other must try's are Stewed fish at Cheater's, cracked conch and lobster at Santanna's and don't forget Mom's bakery for fresh rum cake and coconut bread.
